How it works
A map, not a hairball. Zoom like Google Maps: islands at a distance, cards up close. The AI reads the math; the galaxy is for you.
Five to eight named islands. Your projects, trips, money and ideas, clustered by meaning and named for you. See what you have and what is missing at a glance.
Zoom in and the island opens: sub-clusters with the top screenshots, waveforms and titles floating in bubbles. Serendipity by design: you see what you forgot you had.
Playable, readable cards with the real links between them: derived from, mentions, same project. One tap snaps any island into a clean grid when you just want a list.
Type “pricing voice memo” and the camera flies across the galaxy, lands on the memo and opens it at 0:12, where you said it.
Hold a card and drag. The islands that want it glow and pull; let go and it moves, with an undo.
The cloud becomes a masonry grid in one motion and back again when you zoom out. Same items, your choice of shape.
Capture · in the iPhone app
MogDrive watches the places things pile up and files them by meaning the moment they appear. Nothing is copied: it keeps a pointer and a one-kilobyte vector per item.
Screenshots and videos are indexed in the background, on the phone. Search what was on screen or what was said, then jump to that second.
Press the Action Button or the widget, talk, let go. It is transcribed on the phone, lands in the right island and is searchable by what you meant.
TikToks, product pages, threads, PDFs, Apple Notes. Share once; MogDrive reads the page, pulls the preview and the price, and files it next to its relatives.
Share a Spotify link or connect Apple Music; snap a photo of a bookshelf. Tracks and books sit on the same map as your files and play through the apps you already pay for.
Search
Not the file name. The thing someone said in a video, the number on a receipt, the vibe of a track. Hybrid search: meaning plus exact words plus filters, across everything you have saved.
INV-9042, 128bpmPrivacy, in plain English
Five ways MogDrive can think, one honest label in the app bar, and the same words here, in the app and in the privacy policy. The web has no on-device engine, and the web app says so. The preview you can try today runs on a sample library inside your browser and uploads nothing.
No download. Nothing leaves.
Your phone already reads text in screenshots, hears voice notes and embeds sentences. MogDrive uses those built-in engines, so the default costs nothing and uploads nothing. The optional full model, a free 0.5 GB download, adds how things look and sound. Islands are named on the phone too.
Stateless. Zero retention.
A compressed preview is processed in memory for a few milliseconds to produce your search coordinates, then discarded. Never written to disk. Never used for training. Free for 25 files or 15 minutes of audio, unlimited with Pro. On a desktop browser with WebGPU you can run the model in the browser instead.
Encrypted before it leaves.
Files are encrypted on your device before upload. The server stores anonymous blobs, vectors and keywords, not file names. Sync across iPhone, Mac and web, offload originals, share an island with a link.
| Surface | Default engine | What leaves the device | Also available |
|---|---|---|---|
| iPhone, Android, Mac app | On-device (text, voice, links, PDFs) | Nothing | Full model (free download), Cloud Speed, Keywords only |
| Web, desktop browser with WebGPU | Cloud Speed | A compressed preview, in memory for milliseconds, then discarded | In this browser (0.3 GB cached, nothing uploaded), Keywords only |
| Web, any other browser | Cloud Speed | Same as above | Keywords only |
| Cloud Vault (any surface) | Your device’s engine | Encrypted files, vectors and keywords for sync | Shareable islands |
For producers, editors and designers
Two thousand files called bounce_v4_final are not a library. Samples, stems, references and voice ideas cluster by how they sound and look. Drag across an island and hear it change.

Yes. Everything that runs on your phone is free: the galaxy over what is already on your phone, search with no item cap, and the optional full model, a one-time 0.5 GB download that adds how things look and sound. Free also includes 25 cloud-processed files a month. Cloud Vault Pro is a planned subscription for backup, sync, the web and sharing, from $9.99 a month. Nothing is for sale yet.
Not on the phone by default. The on-device engine indexes and searches on your phone with nothing to download. Cloud Speed Mode, the default on the web, sends a compressed preview that is processed in memory for milliseconds and discarded. Only Cloud Vault stores files, and those are encrypted on your device before upload. The app bar always shows which engine is in use. The web preview you can try today uploads nothing at all.
You never have to. The default on-device engine uses what your phone already has: text recognition, speech recognition and sentence embeddings. It understands words in anything you save. The full model is an optional free download (0.5 GB) that adds how things look and sound. If you want that without a download, Cloud Speed does it with nothing stored, one item at a time if you prefer. And Keywords only works with no AI at all.
The preview you can try today runs entirely in your browser on a sample library and uploads nothing. The full web app will run in Cloud Speed Mode by default, because a browser has no Neural Engine, and it will say so in its app bar. On a desktop browser with WebGPU you will be able to choose “In this browser”, which caches the model locally and uploads nothing. For on-device with no download, use the phone app.
An app that keeps what you save (notes, screenshots, voice memos, links, files) and makes it findable later. Most make you organize. MogDrive organizes itself: it reads the meaning of each item and places it next to its relatives on a map you can zoom.
That is what it is built for. Media is indexed in time slices, so a search like “where they talked about equity” opens the video at that second and the PDF at that page.
On the phone, yes. The on-device engine and your index live on the phone, so search, transcription and the galaxy keep working in airplane mode; the optional full model works offline too. The web preview needs a connection to load.
It does not copy your camera roll or your files; it points at them and adds a map and a search on top. Cloud Vault can hold originals if you want to free up space, with zero-egress storage so streaming your own media is never metered.
That is the plan. Apple Music tracks and playlists come in through MusicKit with art, previews and playback. Spotify songs arrive as shared links with their art and an embedded player. Books come from Open Library. No DRM media is ever stored, only what it is about.
Not yet. The iPhone app comes first; Android, Mac and the full web app follow. With Cloud Vault, one galaxy will sync across all of them.
